Our Proprietor's Select Ascolana Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a mono-varietal that  captures the unique characteristics of the Tehama County Ascolana olive, originally an Italian variety. It has a lively perfume with peach and dry apricot overtones and a nice spicy finish. This oil is perfect for bread dipping, guacamole, sauteing a white fish, Asian dishes featuring coconut and salad dressings.

I have yet to use the select EVOO January 2, 2012

I am sure it is one of the better oils I will ever try being the best and all. I love my evoo as dressing with vinegar so I am sure this olive oil will be a special treat next time I make dressing or pesto!

I love the grassy tones of this oil...it's very fresh and refreshing.  I gave a bottle to a friend for a present, and he loves it too!

Truly unique olive oil! June 5, 2011

It took me a little while to warm up to this olive oil with peach undertones, but once I did I can't put it down! It is divine on roasted potatoes and excellent in a salad dressing. Really unique and worth a try!
